Sharpless 2-210 Region

Emission & Dark Nebulae, Perseus

December 2024. Cave Creek Canyon Observatory, Arizona Sky Village

This region is complex although dominated by the emission nebula Sharpless 210 (Sh2-210 or LBN 712). Located on the borders of the constellations of Perseus, Camelopardalis and Auriga, and at an estimated distance of 7,200 light-years.
