DWB 111

The Propeller Nebula, Emission Nebula, Cygnus

June 2020. Cave Creek Canyon Observatory, Arizona Sky Village

DWB 111 is also known as The Propeller Nebula in Cygnus. The propeller shape is actually a small portion of a much larger emission nebula which can be seen as faint red hydrogen-alpha nebulosity.
