Sh2-168

Emission Nebulae, Cassiopeia

October 2022. Cave Creek Canyon Observatory, Arizona Sky Village

Sharpless 168 (sh2-168) is an HII region in the constellation of Cassiopeia. Sh2-168 is the bright region at the center. To the lower left is Sh2-169, a much dimmer region, and one which is often overlooked.
