IC 417 is an emission nebula in Auriga that is energized by embedded hot, massive blue stars. The bluish clouds of gas are locations of new star formation.

Total Imaging Time: 12h 35m
Data Imaged remotely over 3 nights during December 2009 & combined with Ha data from December 2008.
